There are certain errors in my TransUnion-provided credit report, including information on past-due accounts. I am unable to apply for any loans, credit cards, or other similar products as a result of this error. One lender alerted me of the mistakes in the reports. When I looked at the other two reports—from Experian and Equifax—I could see that they were clear. How can I get the information updated? Is there anything I can do to avoid getting sued, or do I need to engage a lawyer?
